Reckitt Benckiser is one of the world's leading manufacturers of cleaning products and a member of the FTSE 100 Index. Headquartered in the town of Slough, west of Greater London, Reckitt Benckiser has operations in more than sixty countries and sells its products in more than 180 countries. They produce highly recognized household solutions such as Cillit Bang, Calgonit, Lysol and Vanish.

Since 1996, the company has been actively operating as a representative office in Ukraine. In 2005, the market presented an opportunity for dynamic growth and the company registered as a fully operational LLC.

RECRUITMENT: At the beginning of 2006, Reckitt Benckiser set out to become the leader in the developing Ukrainian market. To do so, they needed to build their sales force as the company pursued its growth objectives. Hudson was contracted with a recruitment assignment designed to build regional sales teams.

Among the several principal business regions in Ukraine, the company focused on creating a strong presence in four of them. Within a tight timeframe, the client challenged Hudson to source four Regional Managers in Donetsk (Eastern Ukraine), Simferopol (Crimea), Dnepropetrovsk (Central Ukraine) and Odessa (Southern Ukraine). Simultaneously, Hudson also received an assignment to fill a critical Brand Manager position. Using our extensive network and industry experience, Reckitt Benckiser was presented with a shortlist of candidates that resulted in offers and acceptance.
